The Dead Rise The Dead Hike Poster

The deadrise is the official workboat of Virginia.  Watermen use these boats year-round for everything from crabbing and oystering to catching fish or eels. In this adaptation, we use the term deadrise and turn it into something a bit more spooky and fantastic. We take the spirits and bones of these workpeople and give them a new life. In this vision, we depict a deadrise worker taking a hike.
