The Dead Rise Daffodil Fabric Face Mask
This artwork is the first of this collection. Inspired by the Dead Rise fishermen of the Chesapeake Bay who rise with the sun, work to provide food for the port cities, then take their weary bones to do the things they love. In this case they stop to smell the daffodils. Inspired by the Daffodil Festival that takes place every year in Gloucester VA. With my roots in Salem, MA, adding the spooky skeleton element to these sea travels just made sense to me. Material: Micron Pen
